NUDGEHEADS

Privacy policy

Last updated 24 October 2026

Nudgeheads is a game made by Bethan Dutton ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you play, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, email contact@bethan.cc.

If you play without signing in

Your progress (wins, best distance, your character and settings) is saved in your browser or app on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

If you sign in with Google

When you choose to sign in, Google shares the following with us, and we store it so your progress follows you between devices:

We never see your Google password, and we do not get access to anything else in your Google account.

Analytics

To understand how the game is played and what to improve, we record anonymous gameplay events, such as starting a round, finishing a round (place and distance), picking up and using power-ups, and sharing a gamer card. These are tied to a random ID on your device, or to your account if you sign in. They include basic technical details such as device type and browser. We do not use them for advertising.

Who processes your data

We do not sell your data and we do not show ads.

Why we use it

We use your account details to run the game you asked to play (to save and show your progress and your face), and analytics because we have a legitimate interest in making the game better. You can ask us to stop either at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data until you ask us to delete it. Analytics events are kept for up to two years.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email contact@bethan.cc and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

Nudgeheads is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think we have, email contact@bethan.cc and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
